Mikrotik CCR1036-8G-2S+EM is a high-end Cloud Core Router (CCR) designed for ISPs, enterprise networks, and data centers that require extreme processing power and high-speed connectivity. It is part of MikroTik’s flagship CCR1036 series, known for its multi-core architecture and high throughput performance.
At its core, the router features a powerful 36-core Tilera CPU running at 1.2GHz per core, delivering exceptional performance for routing, firewall, VPN, and bandwidth-intensive tasks.
The “EM” version (Extended Memory) includes 8GB RAM, making it ideal for handling large routing tables, high concurrent connections, and complex configurations.
For connectivity, the CCR1036-8G-2S+EM provides:
- 8 × Gigabit Ethernet ports
- 2 × SFP+ ports (10Gbps fiber uplink)
This combination makes it perfect for high-speed backbone routing, aggregation, and multi-site enterprise networks.
